OMESHIA BOWENS

Omeshia Bowens is a resilient individual who has overcome significant challenges in her life. After becoming a teenage mother at 15, she later founded Still Rising Incorporated, a 501(c)(3 nonprofit. Still Rising Inc. focuses on empowering women and preventing teenage pregnancy by providing essential and support to help them reach their goals. Omeshia is also a published international author, a proud Bennett Belle, and an aspiring clinical psychologist. She has spoken on Black maternal health at the National Black Caucus convention and has studied in Morocco, Africa. Through her dedication and passion, Omeshia is making a positive impact on women's lives and promoting cultural understanding.
